Many workplaces are closing down or moving their production outside the country. According to the money.pl portal, this situation has been going on for over a year.

The reason for this situation may be, among other things, rising labor costs and illegal sick leave. Some companies are moving their production outside Poland, others are reducing jobs to improve their financial results, and still others are closing permanently. At the end of May, 175 workplaces announced plans to conduct group layoffs, covering 16.2 thousand employees, including 4 thousand people from the public sector.
