"Currently, we are observing an increase in the number of transactions compared to the previous two years. There are 16% more than in 2023 and as much as 77% more than during the 2022 season. We are approaching the pre-pandemic level, when there were only 6% more than currently," says Eliza Maćkiewicz from Travelist.pl.
At this point, approximately 43% of all hotels available on the Travelist.pl website are still available for the May weekend. The largest number is in facilities by the sea – 47%. In second place are mountains (32%), and in third place are by the lakes (30%).

According to the website's representatives, Poles currently have to pay PLN 553 per night in a 2-person hotel room (4-5 star or equivalent standard, with meals included in the package). A year ago it was PLN 540, and in 2022 – PLN 442.
The website suggests that when looking for a place to relax, it is worth considering the period between April 26 and May 1. The average price for the stay is then approximately 5%. lower than between May 1 and May 5.
