A charging station for electric cars will be built in the parking lots near Carrefour stores. Carrefour Polska and Eleport have signed an agreement aimed at developing a network of charging stations throughout Poland

The agreement covered 170 points. They will be located at over 70 Carrefour facilities in 65 Polish cities. The first of them will be launched in 2024. The works are currently at the stage related to the administrative process and the preparation of each location for the installation of devices. Both Carrefour Polska and Eleport want the devices to be launched in all locations as soon as possible.
- The main goal of Carrefour's global strategy, expressed in the "Carrefour 2026" strategic plan, is to accelerate the company's transformation through a commitment to be as accessible to customers as possible, build the company of the future and consolidate our sustainable development model. All these elements can be found in our partnership with Eleport, which will additionally help us achieve even more ambitious CO2 emission reduction goals. In 2023, our entire Group reduced it by 38%, which means that 2 years earlier we achieved our goal of reducing it by 30% by 2025, set by a temperature increase trajectory of 1.5 degrees C - says Agata Kopytyńska, member of the Executive Committee and Director of Real Estate, Expansion and Assets of Carrefour Polska.
