None of the sections of the S1 expressway under construction will be completed on schedule. The S1 route runs through the Silesian and Lesser Poland provinces, but its significance goes far beyond these regions, as it is an important route for drivers not only from all over Poland, but also from other European countries.
Several sections of the S1 have already been completed and have been in use for many years, but key sections are still under construction. In particular, this concerns the 40 km of new route between Mysłowice and Bielsko-Biała and the 8.5 km border section of Przybędza-Milówka.
