Drive-in cinema opens in Łódź. Movie hits will be screened in front of the Atlas Arena

For six weeks, every Thursday, car and cinema enthusiasts will be able to watch movies without leaving their cars in the Atlas Arena parking lot in Łódź. The series of free movie screenings in front of the largest hall in Łódź will be inaugurated in the evening by the movie hit "Fast and Furious".

This is another place for film screenings as part of the 17th Summer Film Festival "TME Polówka", which has been taking place in Łódź since June. This is a very popular cinema event, in which residents can participate in evening screenings throughout the city: in parks, courtyards and squares, rooftops, backyards or by the water. From Thursday, cinema hits will also be available to watch in the Atlas Arena parking lot.

As the festival organizers admit, "TME Polówka" is the essence of the unique atmosphere of drive-in cinemas, which are intended as date places for lovers. Films can be watched without leaving the car on a large screen placed in front of the hall, the sound is transmitted on set frequencies received by car radios.

Screenings will start at 9:00 p.m. 21, and the parking gates will open at 20. In the following weeks, Łódź residents will be able to watch "The Notebook", "Priscilla", "The Bourne Identity", "Need for Speed" and "Top Gun" in the drive-in cinema.

Participation in the screenings is free of charge. There is no need to book seats in advance. Entry tickets are collected at the barrier and - as the organizers assure - the number of seats is very large.
