Exhibition "Poles still paint. "Paintings from the MOCAK Collection" is a presentation of works by 18 artists at the Lithuanian National Art Museum in Vilnius. The exhibition was divided into four topics: Study of things and words, Man, Symbolic scenes, Density of reality. The audience will have the opportunity to see over 50 works by the most important contemporary Polish painters.

“Among the art media, painting is a particularly strong weapon (…). In Poland, it is exceptionally valued because although its beginnings are late and date back only to the mid-19th century, it later gained vigor, created many individualities and entered into a partnership dialogue with European art history" (excerpt from the text for the catalog - M.A. Potocka).

The exhibition is accompanied by a Lithuanian-English publication containing texts about painting, reproductions of works with their descriptions and short biographies of the artists.
