A few days ago, on France 2 television, there was a debate between the Prime Minister of France, Gabriel Attal, representing the liberal Renew Europe list in the European Parliament elections, and the young President of the National Assembly (RN) Marine Le Pen, Jordan Bardella. The Prime Minister insisted on the debate because while Le Pen's party has 32% in the polls. support, Renew Europe can count on at most 16 percent.

- The migration pact will not apply primarily to French towns, but only to eastern countries that have so far refused to accept migrants.

said the French Prime Minister proudly.

As the politician pointed out, "today we managed to persuade the eastern EU countries that have so far "refused to accept asylum seekers" to sign the agreement. This concerns mainly the Polish government, headed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk on December 13, and the decision on the migration pact was made in Brussels with his participation a week later.

One of the main topics of the debate was immigration. Bardella accused the ruling camp in France of only "managing migration, instead of preventing it." In response, Attal praised the migration pact, convincing the French that the resulting burdens would fall mainly on Eastern European countries.
