PKP Intercity and PKP Cargo signed a letter of intent regarding the possibility of transferring employees in difficult situations from PKP Cargo to the passenger company. This program will be launched in the second half of 2024 and will cover up to 400 people.

The employment of PKP Cargo employees by PKP Intercity will start in July. Employees will be able to apply for positions related to the transport process and the maintenance and repair of rolling stock. Traction teams will also find employment. PKP Intercity will ensure stable working conditions in plants located in Kraków, Poznań, Gdynia and Warsaw.
