Literary novelty: Robert Michniewicz "Dolina szpiegów” (Valley of Spies)

“Dolina szpiegów“ is a story about intelligence battles, heroism, betrayal and love that takes place in the shadow of terror and constant threat.


Its 1944. The world is at war. Abwehr captain Carl von Wedel, working for Polish intelligence, finds himself on the trail of a dangerous German agent operating in Great Britain. Sent to a secret intelligence school in Zakopane, he discovers a hidden Abwehr archive.

At the Commander-in-Chief's London Headquarters, a decision is made to obtain important documents. A dramatic race begins in which the Silent Unseen compete with the Nazi security services, who suspect von Wedel of collaborating with the Allies.


Does the commando operation have a chance of success? Are Poles doomed to failure?

Robert Michniewicz - former intelligence officer. Author of the spy novel “Partnerzy” (Partners). A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and postgraduate studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 1984, he graduated from the Intelligence Personnel Training Center as one of the top students. He worked in intelligence for 23 years, of which 11 years he worked abroad. He carried out intelligence tasks in the Middle East, America and Europe. In 2006, he retired as a lieutenant colonel. In his free time, he reads thriller and maritime literature, travels and practices sports.
