Lubelskie: EU funds for professional activation

District labor offices from the Lublin Voivodeship received significant funding for the implementation of projects related to professional activation of the unemployed. The program, financed under the European Funds for Lublin 2021-2027, aims to improve the professional situation of people without work.

On Tuesday, the Deputy Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship Piotr Breś presented 21 co-financing agreements, which together amount to almost PLN 98 million. Comprehensive professional support. As part of the call conducted by the Voivodeship Labour Office in Lublin, all 21 submitted applications received a positive assessment and were approved for co-financing. The projects include various forms of support, such as internships, training, subsidies for self-employment, job placement and career counselling.

- emphasized Deputy Marshal Piotr Breś. Support for thousands of residents Projects implemented in 2024/2025 aim to support nearly 6,000 unemployed people, including approximately 1.2 thousand long-term unemployed people and over 2.3 thousand young people aged 18-29.


The funding will also enable grants for self-employment for 741 people, which will contribute to the creation of new jobs in the region. These initiatives aim to increase access to employment and improve conditions on the labor market in the Lublin province. The implementation of the projects will last until June 30, 2025, and their effects will have a long-term impact on the economic and social development of the region. Thanks to EU support, the Lublin region will gain new opportunities for professional activation, which will contribute to reducing unemployment and improving the quality of life of residents.
