Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego now has two vice-presidents
Prime Minister Donald Tusk appointed Maciej Kliś for the position of vice-president of the management board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.
According to the announcement, Maciej Kliś is a lawyer and has over 20 years of experience in running his own law firm. His specialty was primarily criminal and civil cases as well as those related to modern technologies, the Internet and banking.
He is a graduate of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, a scholarship holder of Harvard University and the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.
On April 12, the Prime Minister appointed Mirosław Czekaj as the president of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. Marta Postuła became the first vice-president of the management board of BGK.
Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego is a Polish development bank, 100% owned by the shareholder is the State Treasury. BGK is part of the Polish Development Fund. The task of BGK is to support the socio-economic development of Poland, as well as the export and foreign expansion of Polish companies. It has 16 branches in Poland and representative offices in Brussels, London, Frankfurt am Main and Amsterdam. BGK is, among others, originator, co-founder and main shareholder of the Three Seas Fund.
