The president of the Polish Football Association, Cezary Kulesza, announced during a meeting with the team in Dortmund that Michał Probierz will remain the coach of the Polish national team after the 2024 European Championships.

– I would like to put an end to all speculations and be the first to inform you that the coach and his staff have the full support of the PZPN presidium. The decision was already made earlier, but today I decided to officially announce it. Michał Probierz will still be the national team coach, said Cezary Kulesza.
The president of the Polish Football Association showed up at the Polish national team's hotel right after breakfast. He was accompanied by representatives of the federation's presidium and secretary general Łukasz Wachowski. Before 10:00 there was a meeting with the entire team.
– We are with you in good and bad times. You can count on our full support. We didn't manage to get out of the group at this championship, which we all hoped for, but we believe that together with coach Michał Probierz and his staff, we can still achieve a lot. Today we want to perform our best in the match against France. Later, we will have autumn games of the Nations League, and in December, the draw for the World Cup qualifying groups. We continue to work together, said Cezary Kulesza.
Michał Probierz became the coach of the Polish national team on September 20, 2023. The president and the board of the Polish Football Association set him one goal - to save the European Championship qualifying rounds and advance to the final tournament in Germany. After the March play-offs against Estonia and Wales, the mission was accomplished.
The Polish national team, led by Michał Probierz, played 10 matches: won 5 of them, drew 3 and lost 2. Regardless of the last match at Euro 2024 against France, the Polish team will no longer advance to the knockout phase of the tournament. However, the coach and the team face new challenges - the Nations League and the World Cup qualifiers.
