PKP Cargo problems

Trade unionists at PKP Cargo are protesting against the management's actions and calling for government intervention. The company's situation is deteriorating, and the management's attempts to repair it are met with resistance from trade unions.

Among others, the problems concern, the program which envisages sending up to 30% of employees to the so-called failure to work for a period of 12 months. Trade unions claim that when implementing this program, no criteria are used regarding workload or the number of employees in various locations and organizational units. They believe that this program will lead to a deterioration of the financial situation of employees' families.


Another point of conflict is the management's decision to terminate the company's collective labor agreement in mid-May. Also in this matter, trade unionists express their opposition to the actions taken.
