The 6th edition of the road traffic safety project has started. Fatal road accidents - Holidays 2024, which met with positive social reception and great media interest.

As in previous years, every day during the summer holidays, a map of Poland with the number of fatal road accidents along with information about the event (i.e. location) is presented on the website police.pl, in social media and on websites administered by Police units. events, general information on the number of victims, type of road user and type of event) from the last 24 hours and from the beginning of the holidays.
The current update of the map, including visualization, is intended to draw attention to the scale of tragedies that occur on Polish roads, to encourage road users to reflect, as well as to encourage the media to discuss road safety.
It should be remembered that behind every point marked on this map there is a human tragedy. Any disregard of the regulations, recklessness, disregard for drowsiness or fatigue, even if it seems trivial, may cause a tragedy on the road.
Once again, Screen Network S.A. joined the promotion of road safety activities, with over 20,000 screens located in 553 cities, including at main communication routes, stations, gas stations and shopping centers, will display a map with current data.
