Police instructors from the Prevention Department of the Police in Olsztyn and Białystok, as well as instructors from the Personnel and Training Department of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Olsztyn, started training Polish Army soldiers and border guards serving on the Polish-Belarusian border.

The policemen provided soldiers with knowledge about the techniques and tactics of intervention against people illegally crossing the border and the use of smoothbore shotguns and non-penetrating ammunition used by policemen.

And in Białystok, they trained Polish Army soldiers and border guards in the tactics of small unit operations. They discussed potential threats they may encounter while serving on the Polish-Belarusian border. The training is cyclical and will cover all border guards and soldiers of the Polish Army sent to the border.
