On August 27, 2024, the Chief Commander of the Police, Senior Inspector Marek Boroń, sent the fourth and final round of support forces to France during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This time, it was 9 officers of the Police Prevention Units from the country. Together with their French partners, the uniformed officers will be on duty on the streets of Paris until September 9 this year.

Before their departure to France, a series of necessary training sessions for the delegated police officers took place at the Police Training Center in Legionowo. At the Warsaw Okęcie airport, the officers were farewelled by a delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of France in Warsaw.

While performing their official duties, the police officers will support their French colleagues in ensuring public safety and order, primarily in sensitive places due to the ongoing Paralympic Games. The officers will also provide support and provide necessary help to Polish citizens who are in Paris at this time as tourists and fans.

Polish officers are one of the 44 groups of support forces delegated to France from all over the world.
