The Ministry of Digital Affairs will co-finance the purchase of the EuroQCS-Poland quantum computer, which will be installed at the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center. The new computer will start operating in mid-2025.
The joint project of the Ministry of Digital Affairs and EuroHPC JU aims to develop quantum technologies in Poland. The computer will primarily serve scientists, representatives of industry and the public sector from all over Europe. Thanks to the EuroQCS-Poland project, it will be possible to develop important applications for industry, science and society. The new quantum computer will expand the capabilities of the European supercomputing infrastructure.
