The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways is working intensively on a number of investments that drivers will be able to benefit from in a few years. As part of the Government Program for the Construction of National Roads and the Program for the Construction of 100 Bypasses, projects with a total length of nearly 3,300 kilometers are at the preparation stage.
84 projects with a total length of 2,612.7 km are currently at the preparation stage. Many of these investments will be built in the Silesian Voivodeship. As well as 72 bypasses with a total length of approximately 670 km. In addition to building new roads, GDDKiA carries out hundreds or even thousands of smaller tasks, which include the expansion of existing roads, modernization and increasing the load-bearing capacity of the surface.
Many key investments will be implemented in the Silesian Voivodeship, although drivers will have to wait a few more years for some of them. The exact implementation dates of these projects depend on the completion of preparatory stages and obtaining the necessary administrative decisions.
