On Sunday 26th of May 2024, the charity run "Run for Little Heroes" took place in Stara Iwiczna (Piaseczno County) for the benefit of children of officers of the District Police Headquarters and the City Guard in Piaseczno who have been struggling with disabilities for a long time. It was accompanied by a family picnic, the aim of which is to integrate the police community and promote the police profession.

A charity run took place in Stara Iwiczna (Piaseczno County), the motto of which is "Run for little heroes". It was accompanied by a family picnic, the aim of which is to promote the police profession and create a positive image of the Police.
The co-organizers of both events are the SRS Foundation (Specialized Rescue Service), the Piaseczno County Police Headquarters and the Special Olympics Commission - Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics of ZW NSZZP KSP.
The goals of both events are to raise funds for the treatment and rehabilitation of children of officers of the District Police Headquarters and the City Guard in Piaseczno who have been struggling with disabilities for a long time.
You don't have to be a professional runner to take part. All you need is a willingness to help and good will.
The race will take place in a hybrid form:·
stationary run, which will take place in Stara Iwiczna,·
a virtual run addressed to people who will not be able to take part in the event in person but want to support this initiative.
During the picnic, there was a presentation of police and firefighting equipment, including: cars, motorcycles and boats, OPP and CPKP "BOA" policeman's equipment, demonstration of combat skills of policemen from CPKP "BOA". The event will also be accompanied by artistic performances, including a parade drill demonstration by the Police Representative Orchestra, martial arts demonstrations, games, fun and competitions.
