The holidays are approaching, during which many people will travel by car. There will also be many users of motorcycles, bicycles, scooters and pedestrians on the road. Traffic police will ensure the safety of all road users.

Travel, regardless of the means of transport we choose, should be safe both for us and for others. During the holidays, increased police forces can be expected on main communication routes and access roads to summer recreation areas. The police will carry out inspections, paying particular attention to, among others: on:
· drivers complying with permitted speed limits,
· method of transporting luggage,
· technical condition of vehicles,
"working time" of drivers performing road passenger transport,
· using seat belts and properly transporting children in vehicles,
· drivers' sobriety.
The officers will respond to all cases of non-compliance with the regulations, in particular those resulting in dangerous incidents on the roads, such as exceeding the speed limit, offenses committed by drivers against pedestrians - especially in the area of marked pedestrian crossings.
In addition, the Road Traffic Office of the Police Headquarters has prepared a list of places for bus inspections in each voivodeship.
Information and educational projects are also carried out throughout the country, under which police officers remind road users of the need to comply with road traffic regulations.
Screen Network S.A. will once again join the Police activities promoting road safety. thanks to which the "Police map of fatal road accidents - Holidays 2024" will be displayed on over 20,000 large screens throughout the country. It will be updated throughout the holidays.
