Screenwriter Andrzej Mularczyk passed away

Sad news reached the media. Andrzej Mularczyk, the author of scripts for the classic Polish comedy, has died at the age of 94 - a trilogy about the adventures of Kargula and Pawlak, produced together with Sylwester Chęciński, who died in 2021 ("Sami swoi", "Nie ma mocch", "Kochaj albo chęciński"). His achievements also included such titles as "Emergency Exit" by Roman Załuski, "Afterimage" by Andrzej Wajda and the series "Droga", "Home" and "Blondynka". The sad news was revealed to the media by a family friend.

Andrzej Mularczyk received the greatest sympathy for the scripts for the trilogy directed by Sylwester Chęciński about the adventures of the feuding families of Kargula and Pawlak, which included the films "Sami swoi", "Nie ma chęciński" and "Kochaj albo leci". His filmography also includes comedies such as "An Unusually Quiet Man" by Stanisław Bareja and "Emergency Exit" by Roman Załuski, as well as dramas - consisting of two novellas "Wielki podryw" by Jerzy Trojan and Jerzy Kołodziejczyk and "Afterimage" by Andrzej Wajda. Andrzej Mularczyk's achievements also include such popular series as "Droga", "Rodzina Połanieckich", "Home" and "Blondynka" with Julia Pietrucha, broadcast in 2010–2021. In 2020, he became the hero of Ewa Szprynger's short documentary "Andrzej Mularczyk's Kantor Exchange of Feelings" produced for the Wrocław branch of Telewizja Polska.
