Exceeding the speed limit is one of the main causes of fatal road accidents. With a view to ensuring the safety of road users, on July 1 this year, the police will carry out nationwide control and preventive activities entitled: "SPEED", the aim of which is to enforce vehicle drivers to comply with speed limits.

The police will take measurements both statically and dynamically, with particular emphasis on places where road accidents caused by excessive speed most often occur.
Police SPEED groups will be involved in the activities, whose main task is to counteract dangerous behavior on the road, which includes exceeding the speed limit.
Taking care of the safety of road users, we appeal for common sense on the road and compliance with the regulations.
