Start and end your vacation with the East of Culture festival

Over a hundred free events, including concerts, exhibitions, literary premieres, film and theater screenings - these are the proposals prepared as part of the three editions of the East of Culture festival in Rzeszów, Lublin and Białystok.

The East of Culture Festival is a cyclical event co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. It has been continuously implemented since 2013 in cooperation with the National Centre for Culture and the cities that are the largest cultural centres of Eastern Poland - Rzeszów, Lublin and Białystok.

The East of Culture consists of three festivals presenting creators and artists from Poland and abroad, with particular emphasis on neighbouring countries, including the Eastern Partnership countries. The aim of this unique initiative is to present the cultural richness and diversity of Eastern Poland. The festival is also a kind of bridge between the East and the West. This year, outstanding artists from Ukraine, Belarus, Romania, Georgia, the Czech Republic, as well as Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Mexico, the USA and Canada will perform on the East of Culture stages.

This year's festival programme includes, among others: a music offering that breaks the mold (combining various genres, styles, trends and personalities), premieres of titles by the best Eastern authors, presentation of cinematography from countries in our region of Europe, original exhibitions and performances in the field of visual arts, meetings with creators and artists, as well as regional cuisine.
