Students from Białystok with a visit to the First Lady

The First Lady met the students from the Special Primary School No. 30. named after blessed Edmund Bojanowski in Białystok, at the Presidential Palace.

This is not the first meeting of the President's Wife with students of Primary School No. 30 from Białystok. In 2019, students from the "Aniołki" after-school group prepared a Christmas surprise for the First Lady who attended the meeting.

The meeting with the students took place in the sunny gardens of the Presidential Palace, where the President's Wife welcomed her guests and at the same time introduced them to the history of the place.

One of the students, who is interested in motoring and road traffic, presented the First Lady with a handmade road map, which included extremely detailed road elements.

The President's Wife talked with the children about the end of the school year and plans for the upcoming holidays. The students were mostly happy about the two-month break in learning, although the eighth-graders admitted that not long ago they were stressed about the final exam.

I wish you all the best and, above all, enjoy your long-awaited holidays. Remember that above all, it should be a safe holiday, said the First Lady, addressing the students.

From September 1, 2020, the School has been prepared to work with children with a certificate of mild intellectual disability, with multiple disabilities, with autism, including Asperger's syndrome, deaf and hard of hearing, blind and visually impaired, with motor disabilities, including aphasia, social maladjustment or with the threat of social maladjustment.

Rehabilitation classes conducted at school for students are a whole range of undertaken and systematized activities aimed at students' independence and their development, which will allow them to become independent.

It is an educational, therapeutic and educational process with planned goals, taking into account theoretical knowledge.

The teaching work of teachers consists primarily in functional teaching, practical activities, student activity, involvement, experiencing, discovering, getting to know, experiencing and comparing.
