The participants of the training, consisting of officers of the CBŚP Miners and Pyrotechnics Team and Miners and Pyrotechnicians from Independent Counter-Terrorist Units of the Police from all over the country, were to practice procedures used during post-explosion investigations and expand their knowledge of the impact of physico-chemical phenomena of various homemade explosive materials and devices. on the surroundings and other people.

The training conducted under the supervision of mini-pyrotechnician instructors from the FBI and TEDAC FBI gave participants a unique opportunity to compare the procedures and techniques used in conducting post-explosion investigations used by the FBI with those in Poland, as well as to exchange experiences.

TEDAC FBI, or more precisely the FBI's Terrorist Explosive Devices Analytical Center, was established in 2003. One of its main tasks is to analyze and use data related to improvised explosive devices used in terrorist attacks almost all over the world. Many explosive devices that were used in attacks come to TEDAC, where technicians, scientists and analysts can learn about the structure of these devices, new trends in their construction and the components used in their construction. These activities are intended to help neutralize or disrupt explosive devices and then, after reconstructing and examining them, link them to the people who built them.

The training conducted was the same as the course conducted for federal agents in the United States and ended with the awarding of certificates to all participants.
