The French have invested over PLN 100 billion in Poland

France is the second largest foreign investor in Poland.


French companies have invested a total of over PLN 108 billion in Poland. France ranks second after Germany in terms of the value of foreign capital engaged in our country - said the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce.


France owns 9% of shares in foreign investments in Poland and in this respect ranks second after Germany. Over 30% of the invested capital in Poland over the last 5 years, which shows an increase in investment dynamics.


A large part of French capital, 27% is located in industry, followed by information and communication, transport and logistics sectors - 24%. 18% shares are in the trade sector. The next places are taken by professional services – 10%, finance and banking – 10%, and real estate services – 8%. and construction – 3%.


1,200 companies with French capital operating in Poland provide 4% of total employment and 5% of total investment outlays. The value of trade between France and Poland reached EUR 35 billion in 2023.
