Koleje Mazowieckie obtained money from the European Fund for Mazovia for the purchase of 15 new Flirt trains. However, there may be as many as 50 of them in total. Mazovia announced that it has received record funding from the regional program for 2021-2027.

The funding amount is PLN 242 million. The agreement will enable the purchase of 15 modern and ecological warehouses. The new rolling stock is an opportunity to increase the number of connections and the frequency of trains. The delivery of new trainsets will be crucial for the inhabitants of Mazovia, because the vehicles will run on all lines operated by Koleje Mazowieckie.
