Trust in Politicians – IBRiS commissioned by Onet

IRBiS for Onet published a survey on trust in Polish politicians. President Andrzej Duda stands at the top. Next is Donald Tusk, Szymon Hołownia, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Rafał Trzaskowski took fifth place.

Andrzej Duda was last the leader of the trust ranking in September last year. It opens in May with a result of 44.1%. trust (24.9% definitely, 21.4% rather). This is more by 1.9 percentage points. compared to the April measurement. 38.1% of people have a negative opinion about the president. (-7.2 pp.), and neutral 15.2 percent. (+9.5 pp.).


Donald Tusk takes second place with 43.7 percent. trust (20 percent definitely, 23.7 percent rather). This is less by 1.3 percentage points. than a month earlier. 48.9% do not trust the Prime Minister. respondents (-0.1 pp.), and 7 percent are indifferent about it. (+1.3 pp.).


Szymon Hołownia is on the last step of the podium with 43%. positive indications (12.9% definitely trust, 30.1% rather trust). This is less by 1.5 percentage points. compared to April. The Marshal of the Sejm is assessed negatively by 38 percent. survey participants (-7.6 pp.), and remains neutral for 14.2 percent. people (+4.6 pp.).


Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz ranks fourth. 40.1% trust the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense this month. (-1.4 pp.).


Behind him is Rafał Trzaskowski, who gained the trust of 35.7 percent. respondents (-7.7 pp.). Such a large drop in trust is probably related to the controversial decision of the mayor of Warsaw to remove crosses from city offices. This is his worst result since June last year.
