The Presidential Couple paid a visit to Kostomłoty Pierwsze near Miedziana Góra in the Świętokrzyskie Province. This is where the winners of last year's competition for the most beautiful wreath come from, which is traditionally decided on the eve of the Presidential Harvest Festival.

– I would like it to become a tradition among Polish presidents for not only wreath groups to come to the President of the Republic of Poland, presenting the hard work of their work, their craft, their talents, but also for the Presidential Couple to visit those who “feed and defend”, those who provide us with food security and maintain our culture and traditions associated with the Polish countryside – said Andrzej Duda during the meeting.
During the visit to Kostomłoty Pierwsze, Andrzej Duda and Agata Kornhauser–Duda met with Józefa Bucka – a master in weaving harvest wreaths and Easter palms, and representatives of the Miedziana Góra commune.
The Presidential Couple was welcomed with bread and salt. Folk bands gave a concert of harvest songs. The performers included the Świętokrzyski Song and Dance Ensemble “Leśnianie” and the folk band from KGW “Macierzanka”.
