Workers kick out onto the street

The Japanese technology giant Toshiba is closing its factory in Gniezno after only four years of operation. Employees were informed about this decision on Wednesday, June 26. This is information from MojeGniezno.pl.

Toshiba is an international corporation that produces printers, hard drives, portable memory and systems used in trains. In 2020, a factory specializing in the production of air conditioners, refrigeration systems, fans and compressors was opened in Gniezno. The plant was to become an important element of the local economy, employing over a hundred people. More than 100 people will lose their jobs in Gniezno.
